These things seem to work better if a third party is the one asking for help. That way it looks like someone is trying to help you and more people are probably helping also. People are more inclined to give if they think others are also giving. When they read no one is helping including churches that's a big red flag. There has to be a reason the church refuses to take up a love offering. If you want help you will have to tell these people why. If it's because of something like you live with a woman while not married they will understand while not judging. A love offering has nothing to do with the church finances so posters don't believe your story. I'm sorry but everyone is thinking the same thing when reading it.

What about short-term disability?

Disability will do nothing for him in the next 6 months but maybe later on.

Do not follow the earlier advice about skipping out on your credit cards. After all, you owe that money.

Hello and I'm so sorry for your problems, I hope you get help. Let me start by helping you. Your post below: Surely you realize people are suspicious. Your best bet to get money is to provide all the legitimacy to your situation as you are able to do. Create a web page much as your gofundme and provide your vital statistics, your location, when the accident occurred, perhaps new clippings, etc. Proof of who you are (people in your neighborhood who know you, references, etc.) You might even check online to a place that acts as a fundraiser and find out what pertinent information you'd need to provide to show you are a legitimate cause. Simply signing on asking for money, as you can see will not further your cause. SHOW US who you are and you will get money.

No one knows anything about you except that you are telling us that you have been hurt in an auto accident and can't pay your bills.

Credit cards. Let them go. nothing they can get or do other than call and harass. That will free up some money. Live on cash only basis.

I would be more than glad to invite anyone over to see my medical records and see what kind of shape I'm in to show I'm not running any scam and watch how my family is suffering from me hurt. So if you would keep your statistics of 95℅ of people $5k wouldn't cover 3 months of there bills when I bring home a little less than $1200 a month after taxes and mathematically I couldn't even bring home $5k in 3 months so if God's blessed you to fortunate enough to be more well off to do then be thankful instead of criticizing the less fortunate

It would my bills I have a power bill a truck payment of $284 a month, a couple cc bills and insurance bills and regular monthly expenses, I don't have rent or mortgage payment I live in a home passed down from my grandparents when they passed away so I don't appreciate you saying that I'm running a scheme. I'm a honest hardworking Christian that has ran into some hard times and not trying to ask for much from people to help. Because I'm not trying to run a scheme just asking for a little help to keep things afloat til I'm better. So think I need to be praying for you when you have nothing better to do than get on here and judge someone when you know nothing of there situation.

The reason that people can be "disrespectful" is that the news and personal experience is filled with scammers, liars and cheats. Most folk are more than a little skeptical. That can be difficult when needs are real, but there's no good way to know.

I don't have no 32k I'm not worried about about the hospital bill I'm worried about monthly expenses and monthly bills til I can go back to work I applied for financial aid at the hospital and if you pay them a little something a month they can't bother you I'm not asking for help for my medical bills just help to make it til I heal enough to return to work

Broken back is a "few days" stay. That bill is $37k+. And your goal is $5000. If you've got $32k, wake will work out a payment plan for the other $5k.
