That's the one thing they shouldn't do.

Employees should not be chasing criminals down the street. The employee could be killed or cause others to be killed. Call 911 and let the police do their job.

Did it occur to you that he probably had a vehicle parked near by?


Well I'm sure he did....maybe even a get away driver....but there must have been an employee or customer who had the guts to follow behind a man on foot while talking to dispatch for 911....in that location, I'm sure they had a unit up on roller coaster hill just sitting and waiting to ticket someone.....so with that it makes no sense.

Interesting... I wonder if he robbed the cashier at the entrance, or the pharmacy? No details on what was taken makes me think he robbed the pharmacy.

Authorities are looking for a suspect in connection with an armed robbery reported at the Walgreens on D Street, North Wilkesboro, Tuesday morning.

According to emergency radio communication, authorities are looking for a suspect described as a white male, about 35 years old, 6 feet tall and 175 pounds with a scruffy beard and red plaid shirt. The robbery occurred about 8:40 a.m. Tuesday and the suspect left Walgreens on foot.

No details have been released on what was taken or whether the suspect was armed.
