I used to work for them. They had me do a drug test. I take ADHD meds so I flagged on their drug test. Then they required that I go to the hospital and pay for another drug test. Then they asked me 101 questions about some old charges on my criminal background . It wasn't worth it!

Sparklin, you might want to sit down. I thought the same thing.

I would venture, however, that drugs are not the real issue here. My guess is that the OP is upset with someone at the Villages and would like to see them inconvenienced.

But, that is only a guess. Guesses and opinions are common and inexpensive.

We need more details about these drugs.

Are they drugs intended for the residents?

Is there a cartel at work?

Are we talking about ibuprofen or something stronger, like naproxen?

Gossip is wonderful, but you really have to work it.

I did not ask on how to report to be bashed. I am not telling how I know but there are at least 4-6 people working there doing drugs and that's is 100% fact.

A business can't just up and start drug testing because someone accuses an employee of drug use. To break it down very simply, it has to do with constitutional rights and freedom.

Bestill is right. I'm willing to bet that they get a ton of calls like that and most of them are just petty people mad at someone and trying to get them fired.

Also, how do you know they didn't already drug test this person? It's not like they are supposed to report the results to you.

On the other hand, if you are really 100% sure that a person is using drugs that is taking care of loved ones and the place is not doing anything about it, then I do wish you the best of luck in getting the help you need.

Who are you to tell them how and when to drug test? You cannot just go up into a place and narc on somebody who may or may not use drugs. Gheesh!

How were you informed about the known drug use of the employee I question? Do you have a prior relationship with the employee?

Some people actually perform better and are more pleasant when under the influence of drugs.

Tell us their drug of choice and how you are aware they are taking it.

Gossip like this is no **** good without more detail.

Can anyone tell me how a nursing home who takes care of our loved ones will not drug test employees when they are informed of known drug use??? As a concerned person of a loved one that was in there o find that unacceptable!!! Mind you I put "was". For them do refuse to random drug test has me questioning the management. Does anyone know how to report this facility higher up???
