This story is shady as heck.
This female cop goes home and enters her apartment. She sees a black man, so she immediately pulls out her gun, shoots, and kills him without any discussion. No "freeze" or "who's there," just point, shoot, and kill.
Then she realizes that she's not in her own apartment, after all! She "mistakenly" went to her neighbor's apartment, and shot him when he came to the door.
The Dallas police haven't filed charges, pending an investigation:
But this story just doesn't add up to me. She didn't think anything about her key not working, or furniture being moved around? She's been a cop for 5 years, but didn't think to say anything before pulling the trigger?
If anyone else had done this exact same thing, even if it was an honest accident, they would be in prison right now. But the Blue Shield prevails, and so far there haven't been any charges filed.
Shady. Very shady.
