Back in the country and have internet again. Made good on my bet, lived up to my word and sent Jason the $100. Did what was right. Uncle Billy`s closed and if you couldn't`t see it coming you were spending too much time on GoWilkes talking about how busy it was, how great the food and service were.Ultimately the charity that Jason choses wins and I am fine with that. All I have to say.

FYI, I did receive a money order today for $100 from AnswerSeeker (I'm not sure how he got my home address instead of the business's PO box, but hey, I still got it).
I'll do my best to take it to Samaritan's Kitchen next week, and I'll post a photo if I can.

Is there really a note on the door about them being closed for renovations?
I drove by and checked, and yes, there is. It says that they are closed from July 31 until August 14.

Another interesting thing I noticed, the county's tax site doesn't show anything for 532 Main Street, North Wilkesboro so they don't show who owns it.
