People get mad and do stupid things every day.

It is a spiritual deficit.

When dollars, pookie or status are god, you wind up acting like animals.

Animals kill.

The tragedy that happened at Tyson has mad me sick at my stomach it was a senseless act that has torn a family apart. I want to say to the family you will be in my prayers and that I will ask God to hold you all close. My sincerest sympathy.

Some of that trash Tyson had shipped in ....you would think they could shut down one day out of respect ..There's still blood stains in the floor looks like the health dept would shut them down until it was sanitaryc

This is just a bad deal and I'm sure it wasn't over anything worth this mans life. As for Tyson not shutting down a day to mourn it's impossible without getting behind. A sales rep I deal with also deals with Tyson so I hear about their business and he says they are wide open and still can't met demand. He says the production line workers are going nonstop and the maintenance workers work weeks without a day off. I was told they work so many days they probably don't even know what day of the week it is.

I've never worked there and even though some jobs pay real good when OT factored in I wouldn't want to work there. I know many people that worked there and within a year the long hours nonstop burnt them out. It's good they have job security but that kind of work is not for everyone.

I question if the long hours working seven days a week could have played a part in some of the stories about workers snapping over the last few years. Like I said I don't work there so I don't know first hand but from what I hear the company works the heck out of the line crews. No one ever calls Tyson employees lazy and compared to the majority of the workforce that is not the norm.

The victims family and friends will be in our thoughts.

The Refugee Retirement Plan

This is so very very sad... I wonder if the killer was one of those Burmese refugees Tyson brought here to work a year or so ago. I'm sure that will come up somewhere.

It appears he is. Now North Carolina taxpayers will get to feed and shelter him for a few decades @ $30k per year.

If I were Fred then why would I also say in the same post something that referred to Pollock? Probably unlike you, I have only 1 screen name on this site.

And I really don't know which conversation I injected myself into that I didn't understand? But that's okay, I don't really care. And I've got stuff to do anyway

HR in Wilkesboro & Springdale have probably been working 24/7 on this tragic event. Yet when they finalize their response, turn it just the opposite of what they decide to release an you'll be right on target.!!!

Fred Sanford's middle name did start with a G! Good catch, I can't believe I missed that as I love Sanford & Son.

Also, this is not the first time Chendo has called me a dumb***. It didn't hurt my feelings then or now

Fred I agree with you. Also I think Fred's middle name was "G".

Pollock pay him no mind. He has a chip on his shoulder.

This is so SAD. Can't even go to work without having to fight for your life.

It's just insane the way people conduct themselves today.
Prayers for the dead and injured. They certainly did not expect this foolishness when they left home
yesterday.
