Will be interesting to see who his attorney is (or has been recently). They do tend to circle the wagons.

I think he is responsible for what goes on in his office and the tax returns he signs. A wife serves time just like her husband if tax returns are incorrect even if she did not know. She is suppose to know if she signs the return.

And for the ones that are talking about how great an attorney he is. I saw him in court and I could not believe he was an actual attorney. I was not impressed at all.

Ty had to have known about the money. They posted pictures on social media of all the trips and purchases. No one can be that dang dumb.

I don't buy for one second that Ty is as innocent as some of you proclaim he is, remember where you are getting the information that he "didn't know what she was doing",,,,from him. If you choose to be blind to what's going on around you, guess what, you won't see a thing.

My case payment was embezzled by her. He never even knew the case was paid. Had to present copy of canceled check to prove payment was made a year prior. He was oblivious to her dealings. From death threats to stalking, embezzling and insurance fraud. Tax evasion and much much more she did, then the DA wouldn't allow witness testimony so she could plea bargain her way out to FRAME Mr Ferrell for it all. Y'All, there's a lot more to it than just the checks she wrote to her parents from his account, which is why you see the cases on the docket. Know the truth before you crucify him. She gets to walk, while they try to take his life! Crooked DA. Crooked Wilkes.

I say that's very plausible. I've known people that had no idea of some of the things their spouse was doing until the spouse said "screw you im out of here". I know one guy that was making well over six figures and his wife handled their personal finances. She was always telling him how tight things were and they couldn't afford to replaces his ten year old car. After she left and bought a new house with no job, he figured out she had been hiding money in other accounts. Things can happen when people are screwed over by someone they love and trust.

What about the other girl working for them that was arrested too???

Let's pray, but it's doubtful. She'll get away with it, they'Lloyd break one off in the good guy, and bet your butt somebody in this town got a piece of that embezzled money. Negating the liability of it all, I smell a SET UP. Innocent people have been hurt by this, and stand to lose more. It's sickening.

Legally, even if she was the one not paying the taxes, they are his taxes and he is the one legally obligated to pay them. Usually in a case where an office worker was the one not paying and stealing the money, the department of revenue will work out a payment plan with the defendant and charge that office worker if possible. i would say we will see her with new charges soon.

That's what I'm thinking since she's the common denominator between her parents, Ty, and her ex husband. Remember, all of these are just charges. Not convictions. I foresee the legal system slapping it to her real hard and to her parents, Ty, and her ex husband just a little, if anything. Interesting how this will play out. As slow as "the system" is, this show will last a couple years at least.

Yes, the EX was in charge of financials in the office. Yes, she was caught for embezzling. Yes, her parents were charged with tax offenses. No, Mr Ferrell should NOT be responsible for any of HER wrong doings. However, this is WILKES. The crookedness of the judiciary system here is worse than a big city. Who's in who's pocket and who's sacking the right butt to cover their own. The truth of the matter is, when you are as good as Mr Ferrell at Law Practice, it intimidates others to the point they conspire to "get rid of you". Funny how all those drug charges for certain ones went away when someone went for a swim, right? Yeah, boys n girls, it's just another day in a crooked little town.
