I agree with Eat at Moes in that he should be brought back to American custody and given a thorough investigation and the Article 32 that the guy mentioned and if enough evidence is found to convict him of desertion during this conflict, then hang him out to dry. I don't know if they could get him for on a charge of desertion during War, as I don't believe War was declared by Congress.

He's a traitor and deserter and if I had been his commander and known that at the time I would have not risked the lives of one good boy to save his butt. Like I said it so long ago when this first came out I may be wrong about the injury to his search party. Why's the administration stalling to cover all this up now? I really don't think Obama's advsors ever think of what's going to happen down the road. Either they're dumber than a bunch of teenagers or they don't give a ***** about the consequences. I think his advisors and staff are a bunch of political appointees that couldn't operate a lemmonade stand. I may be wrong about this but it seems like I remember that when this was first reported that they said when Bergdahl first deserted that men were sent out to find him. They initially thought he may have been captured. Some of these soldiers were either killed or wounded looking for him. If he deserted and cost some boys their lives I think he should be shot. Obama and his advisors are some of the dumbest people we've ever had in power. They do things without ever thinking of the consequences for the military or civilians. If you have a young soldier out there fighting and dying you should protect and respect him above all others.
