I looked it up... THROG!!!! Oh wow, I love it already Now THAT's a Marvel movie I could finally get behind!!!!

Oh, and I loved What We Do In The Shadows! And like you, I liked the series even better.

You want edgy, Anti? Look up "Frog Thor."

"Have you seen "What We Do In the Shadows"? Hilarious!"

Absolutely! That was exactly what I was thinking of when I made the comment about the director. Honestly, I probably like the t.v. show even better than the movie.

Actually, the idea of Jane Foster as Thor is straight from the source material. It's not a new concept. It was a well-received storyline from several years back.

You're right, it was introduced in the comic in 2014 (spoiler alert on the link):

I think that's still recent enough to fall into the "trying to be cool and liberal" era. That was the same year that Hollywood rebooted Annie, About Last Night and The Wizard of Oz with black actors.

The first two Thor movies were pretty forgettable, but Ragnarok was one of the better Marvel movies. The director of Ragnarok is doing the new Thor movie, and he hasn't had a bad project yet. It was his idea to incorporate the "Lady Thor" storyline.

I guess all of that is a way of saying it's sort of silly to read one sentence in a press release - like Natalie Portman is going to play Thor - and predetermine the quality of the film, or suspect a dastardly liberal agenda.

The first two Thor movies were more of setups and filler for the Avengers movies.

Can't wait for Maverick! Tom Cruise is a great actor. Also the new Terminator is coming.

I am excited to see most of those. Idk about the new leading ladies.. but I guess we will see how they do. I am all for a little bit of gender equality but some things should just be left to the men. Tom Cruise is not one of my favorite actors either Jude but his underwear dance scene in Risky Business was awesome.

Have no fear, the liberal leftist entertainment industry can turn it into a political statement. They could ruin an old black and white western trying to be politically correct and blame Trump.

But half of those are not "old" movies. They are active successful franchises that have never taken a break. The new Bond is right on schedule.

And if you have a problem with the female leads in some of these, take it up with your liberal brethren

Fast & Furious should have died, it's gotten worse and worse since the 2nd one. I mean, really, you had a group of small time VCR thieves that have somehow turned to a group of international spies?

But I was mainly pointing out how the list of Top 10 movies were mostly bringing old movies back or continuing a series that's 50 years old. And making wild changes to show how cool and liberal they are... a woman 007? A woman Thor?

I can't wait for them to recast Adhir Kalyan as Wonder Woman! That'll show the world how cool they really are

Fast & Furious has never been dead. Well, aside from what's his name that did die. I think that's like number 8 in the franchise. And Wonder Woman is also far from dead. The first was a huge success and fans immediately asked for another. And with 25 successful moves in the franchise, you can't call Bond dead. The same goes for the cult classic Godzilla and King Kong.

Your Hollywood analysis is way off
