I have always been told: If the object is in an unopened container, it has not harmed you. If the object is in an open container, there is no proof you didn't put it in there yourself.

When I was a baby, my parents put Mt. Dew with water in my bottle! And then complained that I was too hyper


To this day, I can't understand why they did that.

I remember that case, I did some research at the time and found out you're much better off with beer. Soda pop is loaded with acid and yes, it is corrosive. It will attack the enamel on your teeth, and I'll leave it to your imagination as to what it'll do to your gut. What bothers me is the irresponsible parents that buy it for their kids.

In 2012, a man sued PepsiCo with a claim that he found a dead mouse in the soda can. Their defense in court was simple... it couldn't possibly be true, because the soda would have dissolved the mouse in that amount of time.


Read that again... their defense was that it is so corrosive that 12 ounces would have fully dissolved the body within a few months
