Jesus Christ old lady it has already been explain to you that gowilkes isn't breaking any laws. I don't know where you get the idea that the owners can be held libel for the actions of someone he has no connection with.

It is also not his place or responsibly to make sure people follow the laws and like I said before if you have proof of someone breaking the law then please report them to the Sheriff's depth if not stop trying to stir up trouble because of your feelings

A freedom loving person should not what to cause someone else trouble over something which they have no idea what they are talking about or restrict a persons right with out due process.

Skeptic, how crazy a response. Blunt force or knives? Really??? I guess it would be easy for the shooter in Las Vegas to hit 50 people on the ground from his hotel room with a knife, or a club.

And it would be possible too for the killer in Florida to go into a school and stab 17 students to death or hit them with a stick killing all 17 in a matter of minutes. There is no comparison to guns and knives and sticks.

All freedom loving people should be concerned with keeping guns in the hands of responsible people and not felons, or underage children, or mentally unstable individuals. The lives lost could be your own or your family.

Thank you go Wilkes for responding. I am sure that most sellers on here would not follow the laws. you can certainly tell by the responses and the general attitude of posters. I am not against guns. In fact, I have several. But I think individuals and companies should make sure that mentally disturbed individuals, underage individuals with anger issues are not able to buy guns so easy.

GO Wilkes, how would you feel if you knew that crimes or murders were committed with guns that were purchased on this site? Could you be liable if that happened and laws were not followed? I would not want that liability myself.

FWIW, we've heard similar complaints about the Pets section (regarding the concern of immoral breeders), and even about the entire concept of a Classifieds section (for fear of someone selling stolen goods). But our official policy is that we try to moderate the classifieds based on the law as closely as possible, without imposing our own personal opinions.

The sale of guns in North Carolina is legal with some restrictions, and it is assumed that the seller will follow those laws. If we find someone violating those laws, though, then we do work closely with the Sheriff's office to help stop it or prosecute.

If you (the OP) are able to convince the state legislators to make the sale of guns by individuals illegal, then we would obviously remove the section in order to comply with the law.

I hope this helps!

Old lady the difference is you are the one who is tying to cause trouble where none exist. The owner of this site isn't breaking any laws yet you want to attack his business and contact the authorities for what exactly. If you want to read the state laws on firearms they are in chapter 14 of the NCGS.

If everyone minded their own business, just would be NO go wilkes. There would be not be 1 post. You could mind your own business and do not write on any thread too. Who cares what you think?

I think the common thing here is hands. Ban hands and we will be ok. Except we can’t feed ourselves so we would die. We are all screwed. Something is going to kill us.

I say we ban anything that can kill anyone. Let’s start with cars. They kill over a million people a year.

One day one of us might get killed by a falling meteor or a dead airplane also. I have been around guns almost every day of my life for near 50 years and have yet to be shot by anyone.
