You can"t earn a gift. Salvation is by Grace through faith not of your works . If I wanted to give you a gift and you told me that you would work for it or try to pay me for it I would be offended and would not give the gift to you.

We were condemned already with no way to redeem ourselves. He came to forgive all sin in all who look to him for forgiveness. I'm trying to get it through your thick skull that Christian another words a Christ man is a believer or follower of Jesus. You are confusing that with what man has done in the name of Christianity. Michaelhjsr, I don't think the word Christian, be it spelled with a capital C or a little c has any place in the sentence where you are trying to compare it to self righteous religion. Plus the Bible does not say anywhere in the Holy Scriptures that Satan is the Big Man on Campus. Get the scriptures straight, and make a sentence that the lost can comprehend. If you can't, let some one else do the spreading of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
