By the time I drive to Walgreens I will have spent the $0.39 I would save and maybe more in gas.

Our personal economic situation is just fine, but we have so many friends whose hours have been cut, insurance premiums have doubled, and who are really having to cut corners at the grocery store.

The economic picture has never been so good...for corporations. Just wait for it to trickle down.

Until we get rid of Obamacare the economy will continue at it's current slow pace. Companies cannot afford to hire new full time people because they can't afford the insurance premiums. Those of us who have to buy our own insurance are seeing 49% increases this year.

Want to see the economy improve, vote in November for whoever agrees to abolish Obamacare.

When someone says how much better the economy is getting, I am always amazed!! Where? HERE? What world are they living in? I just don't see it!

I can only speak for myself/my household. Things are much better than they were in 2008, 2010, 2012. Not nearly as good as the 1990's. but, much improved from the second half of the first decade of the 2000's. And that's the truth.

Let's assume your customer has tunnel vision.

They are doing well so they assume everyone else is too.

That's why people work out of town to make a decent living here.

Surprisingly a customer comes in my place of work talking about how much better the economy is getting now that wilkesboro has more jobs coming in town with food places and a mini walmart.....HUH????? Food places here don't pay squat, and the economy is in no way getting better in my opinion. Sometimes you have to decided which bill will i let go this week and play catch up for next week. Also look at the grocery stores, how exp. its getting to even buy gro. for a family. It's really gotten outrageous. This person was saying that once christmas rolls around it will show how good things are going by consumer shopping. Um excuse me...but who has the extra income for shopping? Maybe in a diff. area where maybe people make better money, but I don't know I guess I just couldn't believe someone was stating the economy was getting better now. I try to see the positive in everything, but in my eyes, the economy seems to be getting worse instead of better.
