Stoney Greene's confirmed connection to dog fighting and other confirmed allegations

We should all remember that absolutely no county leader did anything, including the manager until forced to do so. They hoped this would all blow over. It didn't. This needs to be remembered next election.

Commercial roofing jobs for Wilkes County?

I also think that the roofing company that someone keeps bringing up only does commercial work. If this is true, i don't think people on here would be needing a commercial roofer anyway.

Thanks again Jason for speaking and standing up for citizens of Wilkes that love animals. I hope that he will be investigated.

I want to reiterate that I can't SWEAR that anyone canceled because of this. All that I can say is that most businesses that advertise with us never cancel (with the exception of seasonal advertisers), so a larger business that only sticks around for a month or two is unusual.

The issue could be that they were turned off by all of the national political posts, OR the Stoney Greene issue, OR something totally unrelated. It would be inappropriate for me to call anyone out when there are too many other possibilities.
Was it a roofing company that cancelled?

It's already gotten pushed back to the third page, but yes, I confirmed yesterday at 2:33pm that Stoney Greene had resigned.

News outlets are universally saying that it was because of his assault charges, though, and are widely ignoring the dog fighting. I can't explain that one.

I agree we need 100% of county leadership to be replaced

Who do you think these advertisers are more afraid of the community or an immoral government? If we are smart liberals and conservatives will work together and run them both out of our county.

I agree we should be aware of those businesses that support illegal activities.

What roofing company donated heavily to Stoney Greene?
Let's start there.

This was my first time uploading to YouTube so bear with me, but I hope that this is the slightly more than 5 minute presentation that I gave:

As far as I know, neither of us gained anything from this; she obviously makes no money from Facebook, and I actually lost a few advertisers (and you can be sure that there are now at least a few businesses that will never, ever advertise with us).

I think you should name these advertisers who will never ever advertise with you again so we, as a community, can decide what to do about them.

GoWilkes: Are you saying that you lost advertisers who objected to your research into Stony Greene and posting that research? If so, dog fighting might be an even more prevalent than we thought. Business owners would only withdraw if they think dog fights are acceptable.

@Hepsibah, no one explicitly said that they were canceling because of that so I can't in fairness say that. But I suspect that any business that gets money from the county or from anyone involved in these investigations would have been hesitant to have their name associated with GoWilkes.

I've learned a LOT more than I ever wanted to know about animal fighting in the last 2 months, and one thing I've learned is that Wilkes is very well known in their community! In fact, a study was released in 2021 that found North Carolina is one of the top suppliers in the world of roosters for c*ckfighting.

Jason, I looked through this but I don't really understand what I'm looking at. Can you explain how you came to the conclusion that he was involved in "at least 9 pit fights" and "provided at least 36 dogs for pit fighting?"

@antithesis, absolutely! I gave the presentation at yesterday's meeting, and I did my best to go fast and strictly state facts, but I STILL needed another 2 minutes So I think that the presentation may have been just as confusing, too.

Again, here's the link to the visual aid that I used during the presentation:
https://www.gowilkes.com/stoney (this is a PDF file, 15 pages long)

Throughout the presentation I refer to apbt.online-pedigrees.com; this is a common site for APBT members to post their own dogs and pedigrees. It costs $30 /year to have a membership, so it's highly unlikely that anything on the site would be fake.

His 2001 arrest is well documented, so in the presentation I skipped ahead to page 4.

On page 4 and 5, you'll see two magazine ads for Killer Klown Kennels. In these you'll see that he owned "Ch. Justice" (short for "Champion Justice"), "Gr Ch Buck" (short for "Grand Champion Buck"), Gr Ch Mayday, Ch Black Pazmanian, and Gr Ch Andy Capp.

You'll also see that "Ch Justice" sired Bully Boy (4XW), Chilli (2XW), Miss Thing (1XW), Szar (1XW), and JJ (game loser).

Now if you skip ahead to pages 7 and 8, you'll see that it's well documented that the title Ch. / Champion is a title that means that the dog has won 3 consecutive pit fights, Gr.Ch. / Grand Champion means that the dog has won 4 consecutive pit fights, and 4XW means that the dog has won 4 pit fights (non-consecutive or the dog would be a Grand Champion).

** In those magazine ads alone, you can see that Stoney Greene's dog, Justice, was the winner of 3 consecutive pit fights, and had 5 offspring that had been in pit fights.

On page 10 I show where Justice's list of offspring had been updated to show 14 offspring.

On page 12, I show another dog, "Ch Victoria (3XW/1XBIS) ROM"; this time bred by Stone Hard. This dog is also a Champion and 3 time winner, and the page shows the fight times. This page was posted on April 9, 2013.

The 1XBIS means "1 time best in show", which she won after here 1 hour and 41 minute fight.

ROM means that Victoria had birthed at least 3 other Champions.

** At this point, we know that Victoria was in 3 pit fights and birthed at least 3 more pit fighters.

Page 13, though, shows that Victoria had birthed a total of 21 offspring.

This is where I had to stop in the presentation to the Commissioners

But you can continue on to page 14 to find "Ch Frank Lucas", owned and bred by Stone Hard Kennel. The "Champion" title means that this dog has won 3 consecutive pit fights, and you can see that this page was posted on September 6, 2020 and last updated on November 2, 2020.

** At this point, you can see that Stoney Greene's dog "Frank Lucas" has won 3 consecutive pit fights.

And finally, you can see on page 15 that "Frank Lucas" has had one offspring that appears to have been for sale on June 4, 2021.

Those 3 dogs alone (Justice, Victoria, and Frank Lucas) all have the title of "Champion", so all 3 have been in at least 3 pit fights; thus, 9 pit fights.

And those 3 dogs alone have had 36 offspring that were sold or for sale based on their pedigree, which could only mean that the buyer would want them to train for pit fighting.

Each of these are Class H felonies, with a minimum sentence of 4 months in prison. And there are no statutes of limitations on felonies in NC.
