Any dog will bite if you try to bread it. Dogs have to be poached (pooched?) to be any good. The Japanes won't even tempura bread a dog.

Thursday, after the pound has closed of course I get phone call that she had tried to bite somebody an guess who called the pound to have her picked up,you guessed it the same one that breaded her.
This could somewhat explain why the dog bit someone.

Second, his mother toke it upon herself to steal my pit bull breaded her kept her for a whole month, didn't have the nerve to even to even tell me that she had her.
Blackrose, I'm assuming that "breaded" has something to do with breeding....

If it had been a male dog taken for breeding purposes it would make more sense, where are the puppies ?

I have a question about the neighbor taking the dog for "breeding" purposes. If she only had the dog a month, and the dog was female, then how do you figure the dog was took for breeding purposes? Gestation time for a dog is normally around 9 weeks. Therefore, she would have at least had to keep the dog for that long....

wilkesgal,
Sounds like you need to make a visit to Duncan Gunshop and buy yourself a .22 rifle. Give this POS something to think about when he is attempting to steal so much as a grain of dirt from you.

So let me get the straight of this. Your neighbor borrows your pit bull for breeding purposes ( ) and then calls the pound when it tries to bite someone at their home? I'm not sure how this works, but if your dog has had his shots and you can prove that your neighbor came onto your property to get the dog, it SEEMS like you should be able to get the dog back. Pit's can be great dogs, but you can't really let them run loose in your yard.

Wilkesgal42, I AGREE about the pit bull because people use these dogs for fighting and also to breed which is almost Impossible becuase they will try to kill each other. But if I was you, tell her not to come on your land or even talk to herm and if you ever see her son on your land again your calling the police and having him removed. I know a few people that told me about them getting there gas stole, they sell these wierd locks on the holder and you gotta use a key for it, for about at least 12 -30 bucks if yha want a good one. Sorry to here about your pitbull though, glad to hear she back with yha though.

consider also that letting your dog roam around your own yard even is no longer an option ... fair or not, that is the new reality
if your neighbor is a rentor I'd talk with the landlord as well
