It was a bit of an off handed joke. Some people just aren't going to like me voice or my takes on things. I'm used to some trolls, and that statement is towards them.

I think what you are doing with your cast is good. But putting at the end you don't care will hurt your listeners.

So an update for anyone who cares... I did a 45 minute solo recording.
Had a very good break down of the shooting on 18 compiled from local news, and some small stuff.
I left the UNSAVED project on Audacity, while I was editing out stuff. (I have a bit of the sniffles and was trying to edit those out).
Windows did an update and shutdown my computer. All the audio was lost. I still have the script, so I could remember all my facts about the case. So if you'd like to hear it I'd re-record it, but I don't know if anyone cares now that the story is 4 days old.

They would but I broke my last pair. I had a weird issue with an old version of Audacity that wouldn't capture sound when I used a headset. The sound channel was being used by the headset, so it couldn't use it as a sound source. But now that I got things set, when's good to record tomorrow?

I would think using headphones on your end would work better than speakers

Whew. It's all figured out. Got the settings right, Skype has a recording feature but puts it as an MP4 format, so I have to strip the audio off and import it into Audacity for noise reduction and sound leveling. Method seems a bit brutish, but it works.

Sure trucker. We'll have you on. It'll be great. I'll PM you my Skype. I finally have tomorrow off and I can piddle with my recording software.
The problem I was mentioning to Fins was recording Skype, my microphone, and not getting feedback from my speakers. Lot of pieces to put in play.

There is plenty of interesting people in Wilkes. Mike Rowe did several seasons of Dirty Jobs with regular people. They had jobs that were interesting because it spoke to everyone. The only problem is getting them to talk.
The State Troopers were on Rock Creek Road and had a guy in a Cadillac pulled over for over an hour. Who is he? What's the story? I'm curious. Even if it's a 5 minute story I'd be willing to hear it, then ditch it and go to another segment.

You know Fins,
I've got an idea that may tickle your giblets. We hit up the local breweries, for a case each we do the advertising. We mention what we're drinking and they get free advertising we get some free booze. We just have to keep the stuff around pg 13. We engage the local area and even get more community involvement.
