......Maybe 2 to 4 inches....as of right now......maybe even less.....Storm is going South as of last check......we need a jog to the North or we lose out on a big snow......

This is one of those snows you don't predict. Its just like when we were a kid, look out the door on school morning and say yippee it snowed last night. Then go to dressing for a day playing in the snow or go back to bed.

I have 3 1/2 inches here in Fleetwood in Ashe and its still snowing pretty heavy.

This was more than I was expecting...I was thinking around half an inch. I didn't see the higher totals coming until about midnight last night when the radar started exploding.


The model that did best for this event is also the one showing the most for us Wednesday night.

Accuweather and several dropped the ball on this. NWS called for it and they're predicting the snow Wed. and Thursday. They're saying colder temps. The forecast at the top of the page on GW said we'd have snow this AM.

magic, where did you see that? I just checked the forecast and didn't see anything about snow wednesday or thursday. Says 40s and sunny on the weather channel app.
