Maybe you could get a picture of Coffee looking all forlorn and lonely and paste it on some jars and put it in local restaurants, Quack!

After 88 posting which was started last night I do believe Jason has read the posting and knows it is a scam.

I wish some GoWilkers would give me $350.00 dollars so I could buy Coffee a friend.

Go Away MtnBiker. You seem to follow me and criticize me all the time.

I post what I feel and think and sometimes I should not post my thoughts. I just can't control myself. lol

Quack where do you get Jason "allowing" anything or implying he's supporting this somehow? Did I miss something or are you just being unfair to Jason and jumping to unsupported conclusions / making accusations? Jason allows free disussion, that's all I've seen.

Why does Jason allow scams on GoWilkes? Facebook I can understand.

Also, are they going to claim the tax credit and get the 10,000 back in their tax return?

I surely wouldn't be able to show my face in public if I was the one who was out pan handling the entire county for funds to get what I feel I want. Like I said be thankful for what you have and be accepting of it. have they even tried IVI or IVF? how many rounds of infertility have they tried?? Bet they haven't tried any of the methods mentioned. skip that part and go straight for pan handling. if they can't afford to try other options then why should the county foot the bill for this so called amount of 10 grand...?

How are they going to list $10,000 dollars as free income?

Still, I am going with scam. It is just too weird what with the letters and jars and matchmaker thing.

Bestill

ARN, on one of their fundraising pages they stated that they are not using an agency, just a matchmaker and an attorney. They said if things do not work out for them they will donate the money to a charity of their choice or give it to someone they personally know that also wants to adopt.

that's even tackier than soliciting funds through the mail or facebook....

They put a jar in a restaurant????

princess73

Posted 2:45 pm, 08/24/2012

ok, I am willing to take the slack for this... but seriously did they stop and think that maybe this is what the higher power wants their life to be. I know many couples who cannot have children and accepted it. they love the children who are around them. while some say they are nice people you still wonder just how nice when all they are doing is soliciting funds. cut out cable, cell phones other non essential things and watch your money grow and maybe you will save enough to try again in a few years!

Still begging is begging. take on another job if you want money instead of asking strangers for money.

Wonder how the facebook page is doing?

On GW I haven't seen anyone that said they would send money.

ARN- that probably would be really hard for them to keep up with. I've read about it because I saw a jar with picture and info at a local restaurant near the cash register. They probably wouldn't have any way of knowing where everything came from. I think that like most people they have every good intention of using the money for adoption and hopefully that will be the case.

Quack just touched on one of my concerns with this. What if they raise x amount, and don't adopt. Shouldn't the one's who donate be entitled to their money back?

mommotwo

Posted 1:50 pm, 08/24/2012

It does take a lot to raise a child. A lot of money. A lot of sacrifice. A lot of patience. And sometimes, it takes a little panick. I've panicked before, lol. I'll probably panick again. But...I'll keep the kids.

Is she mentality stable to have a baby or small child? We don't know.

Is they raise about $800.00 dollars toward adoption that is not the $10,000 they need to adopt so what are they going to do with that money. Open a Saving Account?

I know of this couple they had a couple of girl they were fosterin n she couldn;t handle it .So my concern is she gave the foster children back how she going to handle on that they adopt she can;t give it back panic attackor not n they have good jobs save your money up if it means that much to you stop all the unnessecary spending and put it towards the adoption. You n your hubby work over time if u halfto and save ,save ,save ....
