1047 Faith Comes First. Jesus has got to know who is his. The only way for Him Jesus to acknowledge you is By Faith. Jesus sends his Love His Grace to those that have enough Faith in him to seek him out to Be Saved.

Jesus Heals a Paralytic
(Matthew 9:1-8; Luke 5:17-26)

1A few days later, Jesus went back to Capernaum. And when the people heard He was home, 2they gathered in such large numbers that there was no more room, not even outside the door, as Jesus spoke the word to them.

3Then a paralytic was brought to Him, carried by four men. 4Since they were unable to get to Jesus through the crowd, they uncovered the roof above Him, made an opening, and lowered the paralytic on his mat.

5When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven.”

6But some of the scribes were sitting there and contemplating in their hearts, 7“Why does this man speak like this? He is blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?”

8At once Jesus knew in His spirit that they were thinking this way within themselves. “Why are you thinking these things in your hearts?” He asked. 9“Which is easier: to say to a paralyzed man, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up, pick up your mat, and walk’? 10But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins...” He said to the paralytic, 11“I tell you, get up, pick up your mat, and go home.”

12And immediately the man got up, picked up his mat, and walked out in front of them all. As a result, they were all astounded and glorified God,

And the common theme through all the verses you just posted Michael is the forgiveness of sin, not grace through the keeping of the Law.

"Thine sins shall be forgiven thee if thy keepeth the Law." - II Michael 2:1

Forgiveness is a very central part of the gospel and sometimes it is good to get a reminder of the truly amazing promises that God gives regarding this. Here is a small selection of verses about forgiveness, its conditions, and its power. When we look at these verses we can see clearly that as long as we repent and are faithful to forgive others then God will forgive us fully and absolutely and we can truly make a new beginning!

Psalm 103:10-12
He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor punished us according to our iniquities. For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is His mercy toward those who fear Him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.

Psalm 130:3-4
If You, Lord, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? But there is forgiveness with You, that You may be feared.

Isaiah 1:18
“Come now, and let us reason together,” says the Lord, “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.”

Isaiah 43:25
I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake; and I will not remember your sins.

Isaiah 55:7
Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, and He will have mercy on him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.

Micah 7:18-19
Who is a God like You, pardoning iniquity and passing over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He does not retain His anger forever, because He delights in mercy. He will again have compassion on us, and will subdue our iniquities. You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea.

Matthew 6:14-15
For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Mark 11:25
And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.

Luke 6:37
Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.

Luke 7:47-48
Therefore I say to you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.

Luke 24:46-47
It was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations.

Pay attention to verses 30 and 31 . Jesus was Resurrected from the dead and if you put your faith in him you will be saved. John 8:51.

Your verse has nothing to do with resurrection. You are really working late trying to keep from looking ignorant, just post anything. You use John 8:51 for everything from putting on your shoes to going to the toilet. Get to work on keeping all those laws and you will not have time to sit behind that computer screen copying and pasting just so you can see your thread bump up again. Everyone on here already knows you are a fake.

-----

There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:

20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,

21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.

22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

23 And in **** he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:

28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.

29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.

30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.

31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

Here are some words of Jesus for you,
Luke 10:

25And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?

26He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?

27And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.

28And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.

Here is a religious man like you tempting Christ and boasting that he knows the commandments and the law. Jesus said you have answered right, now do it, and you shall live The key here is you have to do it or you have nothing, If you want to live keep all the law and commandments which comes down to just two commandments, to love the Lord God with ALL you heart ,ALL your soul, All your mind , and All your strength, and then love your neighbor as yourself. If you will read on in this chapter you will find that Christ Jesus is your neighbor. You can't love Christ Jesus until you realize what he did for you when he gave his life to pay your sin debt.

You have a very big job ahead of you, so you better get started if you want life. Luke 10:

Prophecy born in Bethlehem of Judah. Jesus was born and died that THROUGH HIM HIS WORDS you would RECEIVE ETERNAL LIFE. Now ask Jesus what a person must do? John 8:51

You can ask him about that when you stand there giving account for every thought, every idle word, every time you rejected him.Until then try to live the best you can, you will like to have just one more day then.

Do you think you are doing God a favor trying to do his work for him. Don't you realize that you are dead in your sins and can't do anything to help yourself. You and all the world are the man in Luke 10: who went away from God and fell among thieves, that stripped him and robbed him, and left him half dead on the roadway of life. We all need the Samaritan to come and bind up our wounds, pouring in the oil of the Holy Spirit, and then take us to the place where we can recover. WE can't help ourselves, we are beaten and left for dead by the thief of this world.

1047 what does Jesus say to do to Receive Eternal Life.
To love the lord thy God with all your being.
And love of fellowman .

Go and try to do that,
Luke 10:27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.

If you say that you do this you are lying, go on and try to do it until you realize that you can not do it by yourself, then come back to the Lord Christ Jesus and confess that you failed and then Accept him and then you will know the way to Eternal Life.
