RIP Roy & Buck, you gave us so many great songs, instrumentals, and laughs on Hee Haw, and you will live on for ever in homes all over by the old Hee Haw shows being shown over and over again on T. V. We are saddened but God needed your Great musical and singing skills to play with the Angels in Heaven

I liked watching Hee Haw...it was great entertainment. We who did were blessed to see it.

To be absolutely honest... I have no memory of him  I watched Hee Haw with my parents, but I guess he didn't impress me as a kid.
I watched the Malaguena video, though, and he was a great guitar player!

Roy was such a great musician and a great guy. I always loved seeing him perform. For me he was the highlight of Hee Haw. RIP

This feels strange to me. I spent several minutes this morning thinking about Roy Clark. It even went through my head that he would probably die before long. I thought of all the times we watched him on hee haw, and what a great guitarist he is. I listened to Malagania (sp) in my head, just as I hear him playing now. Recently I've watched him on RFD with Bill Anderson, and his magic fingers are twisted out of shape with arthritis. The singing voice sounds the same, but weaker. I hate that one of my favorites is gone.
I didn't know til now that he had died.
