William Barr had no obvious reason to want to become the nation's chief law enforcement officer �" again. He already has that office on his résumé and no doubt has been making millions every year as a high-powered partner at one of the nation's highest-powered law firms, Kirkland & Ellis, in the lucrative specialty of advising big corporations on law enforcement and regulatory issues. So I will assume that public service, particularly a desire to straighten out the "hot mess" (Kimberly Strassel's apt term) at the Justice Department and its subsidiary, the FBI, is what motivated him.
If he succeeds in getting to the bottom of what looks like the biggest political scandal in the nation's history, he will enter the history books as a great hero of the Republic, the man who uncovered and prosecuted the villains who sought to overturn a presidential election in what could be termed a coup, perhaps prosecutable under the sedition statute: 18 U.S. Code § 2384.Seditious conspiracy

And all the bad things for the country that the dems put in this resolution that Trump signed.. It's temporary. This will only last until the next spending bill comes up this fall.
The bill is temporary.. but Trump showing the country that the democrat party is the ENEMY OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE is FOREVER. So is THE WALL.

Democrats are always talking about how Mr. President Donald J. Trump is breaking laws and lying. Its kindly like the pot calling the kittle black, with nothing but lies, and obstruction coming out of the democrats mouth every time they open it. The new attorney general will hopefully bring to light all the crooks in the Clinton campaign, FBI, DOJ, CIA that were colluding with the Russian's, Fusion, and Visa courts. Most of them are appointed to their position and suppose to be bi-partisan. Well Obama plotted and lied until he got all the crooks to try to get Hillary elected and Mr. President Donald J. Trump's campaign destroyed. So that didn't work and their Insurance plan to get him impeached has went on now for almost two years and they have found no collusion what so ever. You left leaning socialist democrats just stand back and watch our great President MAGA and win the election in 2020 and keep America great. Payday is coming for you lying obstructionist democrats and its coming more sooner than later than you all expect. Keep up your socialist, progressive agenda and you all are going down hard in 2020. Mr. Muller is dragging his witch hunt on trying to save face from looking like a complete but that is coming to a head very soon.

Obama said all he needed was a phone and a pen to go around Congress. Republicans thwarted his efforts by giving him one of Hillary's smashed phone and a red pen. All he could figure out to do with the pen was draw red lines.

That's because trumps response to a futile effort to squeeze lawmakers for wall funding is to obliterate a constitutional guardrail in a way that could fundamentally alter the power balance between the presidency and Congress.
A declaration of a national emergency to bypass Congress and reprogram funds already allocated by lawmakers would represent Trump's most striking assault yet on the system of constitutional order that he is sworn to preserve, protect and defend.
Pelosi is likely to invoke a clause in the 1976 National Emergencies Act that permits Congress to seek to terminate a President's declaration that McConnell appears to have no power to stop from coming to the floor in the Senate.
Trump's critics are warning that America's constitutional architecture is now in peril from a President who has never shown much interest in submitting to institutional checks on his power.
"Just because trump didn't get what he wanted -- a wall to placate his rally-goers and his right-wing media chorus -- does not mean he alone can do whatever he wants.
Trump seems not to care. The most attractive feature of a declaration of national emergency is that it allows him to escape a humiliating set of defeats in Washington and initiative a new controversy.
