Yep they were police... 2 of North Wilkesboro's finest. Nobody was out of control or anything, Appeared the police were simply doing their job and the guy being searched was completely compliant.

Yep. I did not stick around to see if the man was arrested. At first I thought the police were there to escort a funeral then saw them patting the guy down and searching his pockets. I look guilty as sin on my best day so I got outta there.

No info, but I bet the speculation will be interesting.

On Boone Trail around 12:30 and saw a well dressed man being patted down outside the church beside Aero Care by the police. Seen a lot of things in good old Wilkes but never seen anyone being shaken down by the PoPo outside a church. Now I normally could give a rats but for some reason this has peaked my curiosity. Anybody have info?
