why tip when they have bad manners , temper, attitude? and why tip when they dont wait on u the way they were trained to ....

I think that if you get good service from someone at a Coffee House or at a Fine Dineing Establishment, you should tip them according to the service that they gave to you. The better the service the better the tip should be. I also think that you should take in to account the number of people who are dining with you. If you get poor service than you should at least tip you server something, showing that even though they gave you poor service, you still appericiate what they done for you and the others that were dining with you. Maybe it will give the person who served you poorly a different view on their job. We also need to remember that most servers do not make much of a hourly wage, and that alot of them depend on our tips to provide for themselfs and any others who they have to take care of. ( Do unto others as you would have done to you)

at the prices they charge like $169 for a drink they might have 15 cents in if they can't pay their waitresses they need to close their doors i do tip but why do we need to pay his employes theres something wrong with this picture i don't give my tip to pay his employes i give it to the waitresses

I can honestly say that I used to be a waitress when I was a teenager, and while I was friendly, I was very, very clumsy. I was absent minded also. I found it very hard to focus, so my tips were terrible. but I deserved the terrible tips. I may be good at some things but waitressing is definitely not one of them. I always tip well because I know I can't do the job.

i seat myself , get my own food ,... fire mountian waitstaff are nothing but bus boy's that are getting screwed by the company they work for

For someone that is complaining on how they get tipped or not You sure are a rude person. I always tip my servers because they give great service.... But if they give bad attitude or lowsy service then they not getting **** from me .... And if you have that attitude when serving me you can beat that I will ask to speak to the manager....

Satan, I would be ashamed!!! Some people have no choice other than to wait tables. At least they have a job and are not sitting on their *** at home on welfare. A job is a job and waiting tables and making tips is not someone else's charity. Tips are giving for good services rendered. You area **** if you think a tip is charity.
