imo winds just needs to go "full retard" and be put in a group home/put herself in one,she would be away from an abusive husband and hateful(?) mil that she hates deplorable living conditions. and wouldn't be turning to animals for companionship and she might even be appreciated by the other group home residents and care takers for cleaning ,cooking etc

Sounds like she is trying to help these little ones find homes. Is that not a good thing?

We all want the best for winds and we all have encouraged her to seek out help for herself.

We all would like to see winds in a better living situation and in a more reasonable mental state than that of having to depend on these pitiful animals to give her the love and attention she so desperately needs.

Yes, we all get tired of seeing these animals that are mainly in dire straits after she is done with them...that is what is frustrating. So, if you see it as straddling the fence then yes we are...if that is what it takes to get these animals away from her...and for her to see that she can do better for herself if she doesn't have all these dogs in the way emotionally and physically. She can't afford them...and they surely can't afford her.

Let me try this post again. One week some people on here are giving Winds the thumbs up. And the next week they are giving her a rough time. You are either with her or against her. So which is it or are you straddling the fence?

I know this is extreme, but maybe we should start monitoring the pet ads and contact every person who is giving away or selling a dog and tell them to please not give to this person. We all know her name and description.

Windsofchange, You need therapy and need it bad! If he is abusing animals then he is probably also abusive to you as well and probably his mom. Why put up with that? There are laws that would protect you and the animals, Use them that's why they are on the books! Daymark would be a good place to start for you since you obviously or probably have Medicaid and mental health is hard to find here, but it's better than nothing. You need therapy, you are seeking love in animals, which they do love their owners and I know owners love them. I have a cat that I would take a bullet for, but you go overboard and you are an animal hoarder! Therapy would help you with that and maybe a few medications too. If you can't even try to help yourself, how can you expect anyone else to help you?

I was going to call animal control Monday. He swears he's not being abusive to them. I don't know what to do now. I don't want to make him mad.

He just "happens" to live near you and your "perfect timing" enables you to witness abuse to a tiny chihuahua who doesn't like children but liked your MIL who suddenly decided she didn't want the poor thing anymore, you gave it to him, took it back then regifted to an abuser??? Who happened to see on GW you're "rehoming"? Why would he want it back?
