May I ask at 39 years old why you are disabled? That's awfull young? Not being judgemental just curious and has your doctor done all the paper work necessary and testing to proclaim you disabled?

If anyone has advice for how they survived until they were approved, please let me know. My family has been helping but they can only do so much. I am 39 yrs old and have never had to ask for help before and never been on any kind of gov't assistance. I've applied for food stamps. I never knew there were so many hoops and red tape and paperwork. I was let go from my job because of my medical condition but because NC is a right to work state, there was nothing I could do about it.

If your case cannot be reviewed for almost a year, does that mean your disability claim was denied?

I have to wait until approx Feb 2016 before disability will review my claim. I can no longer drive, able to be employed, no income no insurance. If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated. This is the link to my go fund me campaign. Thank you. http://www.gofundme.com/ou8pa4
