Tad expensive..but it's pretty good. I had to lay down when I got home.

Mike's Inland in Boone is for sure better on they seafood than YVS, Theesy
Mike's menu...
Yadkin Valley Seafood menu...
Flint said they want somewhere that's not too expensive. I've never been to Mike's and I'm sure it's better... but at 70% to 100% more, I would sure hope it is!

The old Village Inn ain't nothing to brag on no more, Lyr, and Mike's Inland in Boone is for sure better on they seafood than YVS, Theesy. They's a reason you's eating alone, course that may say more about u than them.

If you're in the mood for seafood, Yadkin Valley Seafood is surprisingly good for the price! And the last time I went, I was the only person in the place.

In Boone look at the New River Grill in New Market Center. In Ashe look at the old Village Inn Pizza. In Wilkes look at Cagney's. Also, Happy Birthday!

If Ashe isn't too far for you I recommend the Monte D Rey Mexican restaurant close to Walmart in West Jefferson. They have a great fajita quesadilla (Chicken, Beef, or Pork) for $9.95. Chips and salsa are included. I usually can't eat it all.

I have a birthday coming up. I rarely eat out. Can anyone recommend a quiet place to eat that won't cost much.
