If you travel, all LaQuinta Inn and Red Roof Inn hotels are pet friendly with not charge for the pet. I generally stay at La Quinta and have never had a bad experience.

When I am in a place of business I DO NOT want someone's dog sniffing my crotch or my Arse. Leave your dog in the car or at home!

In the summer I take my dog to Kerr. I put her on a long lead and throw things in the water for her to chase
I go to that area where people sunbathe a lot but no swimming area. Management doesn't seem to mind dogs on a lead. You would need at least 50 ft. Your pup might like it

All lowes stores have a sign that says service animals only. But I've yet to see a store that enforces the rule. Btw, don't trust the service animal thing. Anyone can order one of those Service Animal jackets for their dog off the internet. I know a guy that got one for his dog so he could take it into restaurants and bars. The dog is untrained and will jump up at the. Table and bar. But no one says anything because they are afraid of being sued.

lowe's is up to each store,The Elkin store lets dogs in wilkesboro store has a no dog sign on the door

@Bruce...Lowe's hardware does allow dogs...have petted them with my own hand.

I take my "son" to Waggles, Tractor Supply, Pet Smart.....and next time I go shopping at Lowes, he will be shopping with me.

I never understood why some people felt they need to take their dog with them everywhere they go. Unless its a service animal leave it at home.

I agree sparkling.. Leave them at home... Lowe's hardware does not allow dogs.. and please do NOT take them to the food stores... I have my own fur that I have to deal with, I do not want to deal with a strange dog's fur/fleas, etc... I would say petsmart, dog park, or greenway

In public places, they are pack animals and don't deal with separation very well
