I'm not even going to bother reading everyone elses comments so if I'm repeating anything anyone else says I'm sorry. Put simply your relationship with Jesus Christ, and God Almighty is a very personal one. You only need to go through Christ to receive salvation. "Church" is a word people usually use as a meeting place for "worship", in reality church is really getting with any brother or sister in Christ for the means of worship, learning and praise. The whole "you must go to church to go to heaven" junk is an advertising scam for "churchians" not Christians, to get you to come to their fancy building so they can guilt trip you into giving them money.

I love going to church,To sing Worship,And here the man of God preach the message.But when someone gets Saved that is a wonderful reason to go to Church.

Church is a great thing. Fellowship and worship and praise. Just remember, no one has ever made it to heaven by riding a preachers coat tails.

I make my words simple; Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, believe He died for all our sins, believe Jesus is the Son Of GOD; only if you accept Christ as your personal savior can you be born again and have eternal life in heaven with God. You do not have to go to church to get to heaven; however it does say for us to assemble ourselves together. I go to church and believe me I go only to worship the Lord and to fellowship with other Christians, If you knew me you would definitely know I do not go to show off my clothes, car or anything else. No I'm not perfect and I do or say things not becoming a child of God; however I always ask for forgiveness and I know God knows my heart. Just ask Jesus to be your personal savior and truly mean it with all your heart He will accept you. God knows who and where you are and He is waiting for you to call out to Him. It's up to you the path you choose. Blessings to all.

i think if people go for the right reason that is the best thing they will ever do but i had 2 people tell lies on me at work one was a sunday school teacher and the other one goes to church with his wife just to impress her but it dont make any diffeerance god knows they lied on me this kept me out of church for awhile but i forgive both of them but god knows why they lied and he said for me not to judge them so i dont but people shouldnt use god and church to get a better job where they work if it means they tell lies on a fellow coworker so my point to all of this it dont make any differance if you go to church if you are only a christian on sundays and tell lies on your friends just to get a better job

You might want to be careful, Just because you don't like God's plan of salvation. This gospel message will be preached to the whole world. There is not much you can do about it seeing you are less than an ant in God's view.

Not exactly.. Church don't pave way for you go heaven but for you to learn of.. Only way to heaven is thru Jesus, that you believe he died for our sin and saves you

Some churches do more harm than good. Gotta find the right one. Forget the legalists, the social activists and the ones dominated by a single family or group. Find one that emphasizes Jesus, loves the presence of the Holy Spirit and takes Scripture seriously.

Some people want to have a private relationship with the Lord, like the old song, Me and Jesus got it all worked out. It is like cutting a deal with the Lord that works the way I want it. The truth is according the bible the Lord chose the salvation message delivered by a God called gospel Preacher, and if you receive the gospel message that Jesus paid your sin debt on the cross in full, and believe on him you will be saved. You then become a born again member of the body of Christ The Church not just any church. You will be part of his congregation, his new born child, You then will need to grow first with the milk of his holy Word and later the meat of his Word. The Lord gave Pastors, Teachers and the Holy Spirit to help us grow in the Grace and knowledge of him. We need fellowship with other believers. The Lord Doesn't want one of his little ones out here trying to get through this life by himself.

going to church is not a requirement to worshiping the Christ...nor is it required to feed your soul.

to me if u go 2 church to be seen show off what you got its a hipercrit last church i went to GOD WASNT in it at all women wearing pants others showing off cars jewelry clothes etc i left

Jesus refers to Himself in the Word Of God as the "Bread Of Life". He also refers to Himself as "Living Water".

You go to church to worship Jesus which feeds your spiritual soul. You go to a restaurant to feed your physical body.

salvation is not based on church attendance or any other rules to follow or hoops to jump through. Salvation is a gift from God. Those He saves He does it out of grace and mercy.
