We see the commercials advertizing all of the new safety features the auto industry has invented like vehicles that automatically apply the brakes if you get to close to the car in front of you. I'm sure some posters are lucky enough to own one of the technically advanced vehicles and the question I have is do these vehicles make drivers less aware of what they are doing because they can depend on the car to respond to their bad driving? It seems like if my car would slow down on it's own when it senses a object in front of it I would be more likely to let things like my cellphone distract me while driving. Has anyone on here tested this feature?
