You're just arguing for the sake of arguing. I've already shown that, 4 years ago, the wide majority of people prefer not to use a phone book. I'm sure it's an even higher percentage today, since mobile phones are more popular now than they were in 2011. Statistically, the "average" person has the intellect to use Google, and those "less than average" use a phone book. And you're failing to explain why an antiquated Yellow Page ad would be more beneficial to the OP, who was clearly looking for a reference for a PI with specific traits that would not be shown in the ad. It's not like she could just call and ask that type of question.

Don't blame the messenger just because you don't like the facts. 70% of the people can type "sharon call diaz" in less than 5 seconds, and it would take them 30 minutes to even find a stupid phone book.

Umpire, she's asking for references for a PI that is specifically not affiliated with the Sheriff's department. That's not exactly something that a PI is going to have in a phone book ad. Not that anyone looks at a phone book, anyway, and would you really want a PI that is so antiquated that they're still spending money on that?
Why do you have a problem with people asking for references on here? If it doesn't involve you, and you don't have an answer, then why waste anyone's time replying... twice?
To the OP, I would ask this: if the PI says that he can't find any evidence of adultery, what will you do? Will you assume that you were wrong and go back to normal, or will you worry that the PI just missed something and still not trust your husband?
I suspect that, regardless of the result, you still won't trust your husband. Without trust, there is no need to stay in the relationship.
With that said, I only know of two PI's in this area, and neither of them are friends with the Sheriff's department. That's Hayden Church and Sharon Call Diaz. I'm sorry, but I don't know either of their numbers.

A private detector would be feasible to see if he is indeed cheating. Then she can sue the woman (or women) for alienation of affection, possibly get alimony, win the kids (if there are any)......something along those lines.

oh for the love of gawd......if you suspect your marital partner is cheating then you answered your own question, gut instincts over ride ever other thing. Leave, as fast as you can, and if you can't because you want to hang on to what you have materialistically, then propose an open marriage and both of you stay married for name sake only, and do what you both want. You would be super surprised at how many men confronted with the hey, lets have an open marriage because I think your a ****ing cheater, will give you what you want. And you can keep the friendship part of companiship which is what is only holding your marriage together in the first place......geeze these topics make me sick
