Moving and I exchanged several posts and PMs about family and genealogy. He helped set me in the right direction on a couple of genealogy questions regarding family from the Edgewood area as that is where he lived once upon a time in more innocent days.

I often thought as I would lie awake late some nights after GW thinking of him and my brother out on the west trucking on.

Gowilkes is a mere corner in some of our worlds. We embrace the extended family of friendship it brings us. Thank you Jason for that. Some we actually meet, yet others we hold in high regard as part of a family we have bridged over time and words. Within the passing of one of our posters, brings a reality of how close we actually become from this point in time. We are all here for reasons, each bringing to this table, a part of what makes us all unique. As I spoke to Kenc earlier, how much by his presence here, Moving made such a positive impact on our lives. His words were kind, thought provoking, and yielded a compassion for another that it grieves those of us whom he personally touched.

I extend my heartfelt condolences to his family, as they piece their loss of their loved one.
The news today, brought about tears for a man I would have honored to personally know.
For his life professionally mirrored another in mine.

It was a beautiful spring day here in Minneapolis, the first of many, but as I look up to skies above tonight, the stars don't shine as brightly, knowing one of the stars here has turned off his light.

Namaste, to all of you....

Thanks Jason , I hope his wife will read this someday and see how much her husband will be missed, even by those of us who didn't know him in person. So sad.

I'm afraid that I may have bad news.

After doing some research, I found where moving101 had emailed me in the past and mentioned his name. This name does match someone that has passed recently, and the date of their passing is only a few days after the last post from moving101. So I do think that this was him

If this is correct, then moving101 was a very beloved poster on GoWilkes, and will be sorely missed.

Please keep in mind that his wife is also a regular user of the site, and will likely read anything that you post about him. So be kind and sympathetic with any comments that you make.

I believe Fins got the banhammer. If Moving has left us, all I want to say is put in a good word for some of the rest of us at that big truck stop in the sky, amigo.
