No... some mid level official made a tweet, and it wasn't wrong at the time. But I showed that Trump had a lot more information than a tweet.

Which would you have preferred... what we have now, or Trump reacting early, Democrats saying he overreacted, and the lives of 105,000 Americans been saved?

Antithesis,
I did read the article but you weren't talking about response, you said the WHO did not give bad information, I just proved they did. I wonder how much hello the left would have raised had Trump shutdown the country when the WHO was saying "no evidence of human to human transmission?"
It's kind of like this, the Monday morning quarterback never throws an interception.

Cowboy, did you read the entire article? Vietnam reacted early and has had only 328 cases (with no deaths), even though they share a border with China! Because they acted early.

Your quote about WHO is true, but it's based on a tweet from a mid-level official on January 14:

Preliminary investigations conducted by the Chinese authorities have found no clear evidence of human-to-human transmission of the novel #coronavirus (2019-nCoV) identified in #Wuhan, #China????.

But Trump doesn't (or, shouldn't) exclusively get his news from Twitter. He and other leaders "were part of regular conference calls, weekly or twice weekly, beginning on 7 January. From 10 January those calls included warnings about the risk of human-to-human transmission:"

From the same article:

China argued against declaring an emergency on 22 January, but could not have carried the argument alone. The other emergency members and advisers were experts from the US, Thailand, Russia, France, South Korea, Canada, Japan, Netherlands, Australia, Senegal, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, and New Zealand.

Their advice is confidential, but for the vote to have been split, several western, or western-aligned, representatives must have voted with Beijing.

While the emergency committee took a week to decide to declare a PHEIC, Trump spent more than a month after that playing down the threat to the US, during which the country fell weeks behind the rest of the world in diagnostic testing and stockpiling essential equipment.

So Trump is saying that he was given false information by the WHO, but that means that he ignored the conference calls and exclusively believed a post on Twitter.

Other nations had the exact same information, they were on the exact same conference calls, but their foresight and leadership prevented a catastrophe.

Is your argument that Trump wasn't given the same information, that he ignored the information in favor of a tweet, or just that he lacked the same foresight?

Nice assumption Faux but you are wrong. Way to paint a fake picture of what I want. That is your problem. You are so eat up with right wing bs from Faux news, Trump, Virgina Foxx, and so forth that you believe anyone that doesn't think like you wants all that garbage you mentioned. I guess you want to tell all those thugs to go back to Africa too don't you?

So according to CNN the WHO did give not just the US but the entire world bad information.

China and the WHO told the world this,

At the time, the Chinese authorities and the World Health Organization had both maintained that there was no "clear evidence'' for human-to-human transmission."

This isn't the Trump administrations take on but a story by CNN titled "How Vietnam managed to keep its coronavirus death toll at zero"

You tell me what anarchy, community destruction, drug infested, murderous, thugs have to contribute to a free nation? You stand against everything needed for a free country to thrive. You want income redistribution, a religion free, entitlement minded, country where the working people owe those that won't work their paychecks. Checks for housing, food, transportation, medical care, and anything else needed to maintain the

When you don't agree with liberal you label them anti American or tell them to leave.

Not how things work you tools. You fear people who don't think like you. People that have critical thinking skills that you lack to see the big picture outside of loyalty to a loser president.

Anti is just the right name for you. But Anti-American puts the finishing touch on it. These Democrats will stick their heads in the sand and stand up for anyone before America. If South Korea has such good leadership why not go there and be an "Independent Hypocrite"

At the same time the ChiComms were promoting travel of their infected people so as to spread their virus out onto the rest of the world.

That's only bad news if you're a mush brain. To normal people it's very good news, and too bad the previous administrations have turned a blind eye to China's doings for decades.
That's over. And to the minds of the experts on China, they are saying how proud of Trump they are for doing this.

However, naturally, since you're one of the blind followers of inept, corrupt obama, I'm not surprised you don't have the sense you were born with.

You can say the US didn't get poor information but then again this what was being said,

"At the time, the Chinese authorities and the World Health Organization had both maintained that there was no "clear evidence'' for human-to-human transmission."

It sounds like a bad joke, but it's real. Friday, Trump announced that the US is "permanently" terminating our relationship with the WHO:

This is another weak attempt to shift the blame on someone else... now it's THEIR fault that he did such a poor job with the COVID pandemic. Even though South Korea had their first case the same day as us, and had the exact same information, but their leadership and foresight led to a fraction of the number of cases:

It's obvious to anyone that the US didn't get poor information, we just had poor leadership. And now that poor leadership is passing the buck.
