Let's talk about fairness:


The capital gains are based upon income the corporation makes which is taxed. Is it fair that the income is taxed again?

If you want fairness lets do away with capital gains tax altogether.

You can deduct capital losses on your taxes.
The tax rate for capital gain is lower than the rate for wages. Is that fair to the middle and lower classes that live paycheck by paycheck?

Will they also credit unrealized capital losses when the economy crashes?
