Talk about vested interest.

I read an article a few months ago where they did a study on the scientists that believed in global warming caused by humans. They found that most who believed in it either worked for the Federal Government or worked under Federal Government grants and most scientists that did not believe that global warming was not caused by humans did not work for the Federal Government or did not rely on Federal Government Grants for their employment.

Another weird thing that happened on GoWilkes was when some poster found a state quarter from Puerto Rico and went all goofy because they just did not know.

There is no hill to go. I contend that most mainland Americans do not have any knowledge regarding our territories in the Pacific. We just don’t know so why should we care? Do you even know their names? Most folks know about Guam, but what about the others? Honestly, I have a girlfriend who thought that Guam was a foreign nation when the NOKO thing came up. I was like, Hello! It’s America!

Well, seriously, check that out. You are misinformed. They are funded because of compacts with the US if they are not already Territories. The military depends on them. Many are Americans by virtue of territorial status.

I never said they were economic refugees. I said that money was involved. Very few of these stories come to us without the mention of some funding group or apparatus.

There was a war at the time, darlin.

War is hard on people.

Of course, give them their props for suffering the brunt of it. And do not dismiss them as economic refugees. They are not that.

Be careful if you go to the beach this summer. The ocean is 0.4 inches higher than when Clinton was President.

Ah! The Solomons have suffered greatly. God bless them.
