Mitt Romney set a new debate record last night - by lying 27 times in only 38 minutes

From the August 22 article: "...overall domestic oil production is up 10 percent this year in a continuation of a three-year trend..."

If overall production is up, and exports are up, then why is the federal land drilling such an issue? I know we need to cut our dependence on foreign oil but what's the point if we are going to use it increase exports?

this n that, I looked at some (about 4) of your links before losing interest, but they were either biased (such as conservative affiliated websites), unreliable/undependable (The Examiner) or just articles of unresolved ongoing debate (and it's hard to use one unresolved debate as evidence to bring another unresolved debate to an end.) I only saw a few of the links, but the few that I saw didn't lend themselves to clearly defining anything related to last night's debate.

They are both liars. But Mitt would orchestrate a gang rape of old ladies.

To me thats the main difference.

That site sure looked a bit bias. Factcheck.org and politifact are a lil less bias.

Take your pick moving, I posted a bunch that say it's down, plus it's been on the news a lot about production up on private land, and down on fed land.

But my personal opinion.... between the two, obama or Romney lying, my money is on obama. He has a long history of it.

I would also bet that Romney told no lies at all last night. He may not have had time to fully elaborate, but out and out lying, it's just not in him. obama on the other hand is a glib liar, and does it all the time.

"gr8, what do you get out of wanting to fight all the time?"

We use the tools that we have...or at least the ones that we believe or may want others to believe that we have. If the dude hasn't evolved intellectually, what else is he going to take Prank on with other than implied threats of physical violence? He knows that challenging Prank to a battle of wits will be a losing battle, so he opts to play the rooster instead.

The same thing occurs with almost every political debate on this site. Most of the peeps herein operate under a philosophy that says, if you can't mount an attack or defend your position in a manner that is effective and the other side has offered irrefutable supporting facts, apply smoke and mirrors to redirect your opponent until they are wading in inconsequential, irrelevant bull****. (i.e, Question: "Can we talk about the economic facts presented in last night's debate?" Response: "Obama dyes his hair and uses a teleprompter when speaking in front of crowds.")

I tried to open up two of the links and AVG just stopped them...stating the websites contained malware. I'll have to take a look at them later when I'm not using Firefox.

this n that, I read the article in your link. There's one line that struck me, "...if ONRR's data is correct...production on federal land is down..." So which set of data are we to believe?

Guess it's who you ask.
Just taking a random lie you claim Romney told. You say he lied about production on Fed land, that is was up, not down. .
Institute of Energy Research says Romney is correct. I would bet the rest of your claims could be disposed of much the same way. It's a long article with charts and everything, and covers several yrs. You could look it up and be honest about things, but I bet you enjoy claiming Romney lied to much to bother.

The best point made was no one knows what a qualified mortgage is. Nice reform, cant wait to see how bad the robbing of social security works out. Obama only accomplishment is Obama care and the only man to instate such a system is Romney .

I actuality found his point about states rights and the 10th amendment spot on.

The only savings or cuts Obama was willing to talk about were projected cost saving not real money savings.

They would rather be lied to by a white man than told more of the truth by the black man.

And that is the sad honesty of it all.

Takers, honesty, I'd like to know if Mitt's untruths bothered you any? The link said 27? Aren't you even a little concerned that he would so boldly stand before all Americans and try to convince people of things that he has stated for months and were debunked already. He's been telling about the 20% tax cut for months and that's where the $5 trillion Obama was speaking about comes in.

And I'm not trying to pick a fight, I'd truly like to know if those 27 things bother you any or not?

I'd like to know what the GOP'hers think about those 27 untruths by Mitt that the fact checker found. Do they concern you any at all?

And before you start, yes Obama had some too...But, not nearly as many and I'm not excusing him either.
