Merlefest would be so much better if they allow alcohol and pot smoking.

Maybe hes uncomfortable because he was never real country to begin with. Now hes not pretty enough for the fancy marketing

Alan Jackson is getting up there in age, isn't he? Maybe that's why he was uncomfortable.

It was Alan Jackson. What do you expect?

I've heard several people today saying how disappointed they were with AJ's performance.

I did NOT enjoy Alan Jackson's show. Couldn't he have done at least one of his hits? People around us were yelling for these songs. We were seated toward the back and hundreds of people left early. I really enjoyed Scythian, Carolina Chocolate Drops and Jon Stickley Trio.

I was disappointed, too. I knew it would be his bluegrass album, but he lacked energy. On the plus side, Scythian, Carolina Chocolate Drops and the Banknotes were very good. Holly Williams just made me sad.

Glad to hear I didn't miss anything. I really Alan Jackson, but strongly dislike bluegrass.

I went and very disappointed. He did not do one of his hit songs. I thought he appears so uncomfortable or shy that it was uncomfortable to watch.

I have always enjoyed his music, so it was a disappointment.

The performers before his set were much more entertaining.

It was a great show. I had not heard any of the songs before last night.

I went and loved his show! All from his bluegrass album, so I didn't recognize any of the songs, but all if them were good! Sorry you missed it!

did anyone go see Alan Jackson tonight? I wanted to go so bad but couldnt afford it. I have always loved to hear him sing country and was wondering about his bluegrass.
