It will do like all new restaurants in wilkes.... Which this one isn't "new" but you know what I mean .....everybody in the county will go and the first 2-3 weeks of business will be absolue chaos. ..the novelty effect will wear off and it will settle back in to do approximately the same amount of business that the old one did. They are opening this one at a transitional time however, when McDonalds is eliminating preservatives, fillers and overhauling their general operation. It will be interesting to see how mc D's will do over the next year.

sgtkracka I too grew up in the 80s and that decade totally rocked! I've seen all those movies and to this day I'm just not scarred of clowns. But I do have a cousin who watched It with me and my mom and they both today hate clowns. Just kept reminding myself the movies weren't real and when i went to the Barnum and Baily circus when I was younger the clowns were awesome. I went yesterday to McD's just to see it and it was pretty nice. I didn't eat, didn't feel like waiting, just went for the field trip. The main downside of the construction; however, is the parking. Not very well planned. I had to park in the Big Lots parking lot and I'm sure Tipton's will soon be placing signs for their customers only to park in their lot.

you know what they say about guys who wear big shoes...
which makes my phobia of being raped by a clown that much more terrifying!

Goddess: I agree: A redheaded clown who willingly wears those huge shoes in public cannot be all-bad.
