Manager at Ebenzers

I see the OP created their profile today so I call B.S. on the post.

Rfinkley is obviously either a terminated or disgruntled employee bent on causing grief for Ebenezer's.

Like goddess, I have shopped there for quite sometime and have never had any complaints or issues with or about anyone associated with shop.

If tommy is the only one there that can help and he was unloading merchandise from vehicles in the back...I'm a thinking he took the first come first served approach. So, maybe he was unloading the vehicles before someone in the store needed assistance also. What else could he have done in that situation? He needed to take the initiative and it sounds like that is what he did.

Is there a reason as to why the lady in the back couldn't help the customer at that time?

It certainly does sound like they could use some extra help for sure...but folks could also be a little more patient considering the circumstances.

someone sent me a message and ask me what i meant when i said smart man. i will go ahead and put it out there and i am not bashing or praising the place or no one.i have shopped at ebenezers since donna was there which has been a long time. i go in there probably 4 days a week on average because i love it and think they are the best.

i have a lot of interaction with the workers and i would think as a shopper they need a manager or at least someone who would help out loading and unloading vehicles and working with the customers. here is an example, i was down there a week or so back and a customer needed help, they went to the back and asked for help. the lady in the back said tommy will be with you in a minute. about that time he came in caring a big box of donations.the lady in the back said tommy tommy this lady needs help and tommy replied i'll be with you in a moment i have 2 more vehicles to unload. thats not his fault he's doing all he can but a customer should not have to wait that long to get help or to be unloaded. they need someone who can help out in the back who can lift and do the things that the older women back there can't.

my opinion as a shopper is this a great place to shop but a place where more help or at least more people who can help out physically is needed. likke i said i'm not bashing or praising just an honest opinion

Again, you are wrong ijs...I was not hateful to the op....I did ask, what' your problem...as, it's pretty clear that there is a problem....by starting this thread and not responding to my question.

I don't have to understand what is going on at Ebenezers, them having or not having a manager is immaterial to my shopping experiences there.

They have not had a manager since mike left. Tommy don’t want a thing to do with the job. Smart man

no one said you had a thing against ebenezer's attic. you were hateful to the op. why be hateful before you know what is going on. you have already formed an opinion about something you dont even understand yet. you just said it.

I"m not negative at all, I love Ebenezers Attic...never had a problem with management or any purchase I've ever made there.

I do however have a problem with the op's statement/opinion or ramblings if that is what it was...and asked for clarification...of which as of yet there is none.

Many business operate everyday, without a "manager" in sight, for a myriad of reasons.

Obviously the op, was trying to make a point by starting this thread...obviously the ops point has yet to be made...

the op is of the opinion that a manager is needed, then I would hope the op has some experience in the field of retail management.

why. if the manager has gone home and isnt coming back even an can see they need a manager. you dont have to be a manager to see there isnt a manager in the building.

either way the op, opined that a manager was needed, doesn't really matter what the reason...and yet the op declined to explain their opinion.

Because they voiced an opinion of the lack of managerial expertise at Ebenezers!

the op didn't say anything about a lack of managerial expertise. the op said they need a manager which could mean they don't have one because the last one quit. thanks for making my point they you jump to conclusions and look for the worst. maybe the manager isn't any count. but you couldn't exactly get that from the op. let up.

Wouldn't Ebenezers be better served with someone like the op, who can opine that management is needed, than for the op to start a thread basically telling the public what is needed about Ebenezers...it's serve's no other purpose than to demean Ebenezers and well to start a thread fight

just because they made a statement?

the op should apply for the position!!!

Of course they're probably, maybe, most likely qualified.

They have gone through several managers. Talk to some of them.

If the manager is quitting, it's a big secret .

maybe the manager is quitting and they need a new manager. why be so hostile about everything? maybe the op doesn't have a problem just a question.
