Your child and the four others need to make your own team. Get a couple more kids and your own coach and have fun.

I know this is a painful situation as a parent and for the child. Your demeanor leads me to believe you will take the high road and continue to encourage and support your child. Sometimes these things can be political, but it isn't worth the fight or stink that comes with it. I would enroll your child in a rec league or maybe AAU. Good luck!

She was just told today. The coach hasnt talked to me or her. She said they moved 4 of the girls up from 5th and cut 4 of the 6th grade. She has cried since she got home, I am just pissed. I have tried to call everybody i know.

What reason did your Daughter tell you he told her? Had to be a Reason why he cut her off the team. You need to talk to your daughter before you talk to the coach.

If she was cut due to skill, take this disappointment as an opportunity to strive and do better. Not all kids should make the team, it gives them a reason to try and do their best.

My advice would be to find a new team for her to play with. I'm guessing this is travel ball?

Is there a policy in place that states that parents are to be notified
Of any changes regarding their child's qualification to play team sports?
Find out as much as u can from your daughter...if that is not satisfactory
To you then contact the coach!

I just found out that my daughter has been cut from a basketball team. My daughter has been playing with this team for over 2 years , and come Feb 1st. She's cut. What makes me so mad the coach hasn't bothered to tell me. My daughter was told at school today. How should I handle this no smart comments please.
