Springtime123,
If you truly believe that then you know less than nothing about firearms, action vs. reaction or the law.

How stupid are you? Law enforcement is trained, someone just having a gun in their hand is a threat.

Here you can sort of see his left hand. I can't tell if that's a gun or the inside of the fender (blackness) from the vehicle he's standing beside. I didn't doctor this image, it's raw, no filters. Oh yeah, this is a single frame from when the cop walked over to the vehicle beside the one Keith was in.

Yea Springy. You're a moron.
The cops came for someone else. So premeditated murder is t on the table.

And you can't tell what he's holding or not holding.

You are right I can't tell from this video if he had a gun or not but even if he did have a gun, he made no threaten moves. In fact he was moving away from the shooter with his arms beside him when he was shot.

The resolution is too low quality and the frame rate too slow to begin with.

If you frame by frame the body camera footage from the officer who was striking the windows with his baton, just after the officer comes around the left rear of the vehicle you can see Scott holding a gun in his right hand.

I slowed the frame rate & meticulously searched. Still can't say either way.

Nothing in the posted videos gives a civilian any insight about what really happened or if there was a gun in the man's hand or not. Maybe pointy can do the frame by frame and see something.

If you had ever actually been an anylist, you'd comprehend that the disclosed video is such poor quality that it proves nothing.

As near as I can see Scott didn't have a gun. He made no threaten moves. That was murder. I think the cops came there with the intention of killing this man.

I honestly think the people who are defending the guy who was shot are trolling. They have to be.

BLM is a racist movement that propagates hate.

In the dash cam footage he doesn't seem aggressive. And why is there no sound during the beginning of the other video? Just seems odd.

But you're correct, you can't tell much.

What they released wasn't helpful unless you have better image processors than I do.

WBTV has it (I think)

Or they said were. Now it's been deleted from the CMPD twitter page.

Follow up as I just watched a higher quality version I dug up I'm going to try and download a hq copy and run it through some of my video software when I get the time but on the CNN footage I saw no object the camera moves away for a moment and suddenly a possible object is there. Could it have been kicked sure. Begs the question why kick it and if it was kicked it was kicked toward the body.

Turn the sound off and focus on the officer in the red shirt, you can see him make a sweeping motion with his leg and then stands in the same spot, you can see a portion of an object on the pavement near this officer's left foot.

I've reviewed it repeatedly I've also looked at the still images posted by the various outlets and it is impossible to ID any shapes on the ground. But lets say for the sake of argument that your right. Why would it have been touched at all except to be documented and then placed in a sealed container?
