Well no that's not exactly true about subsidies the reason they are needed is that we heavily subsidize coal oil and natural gas both directly and indirectly and spend billions more on them than we do on alternative sources. If you removed every subside for energy solar wind and hydro would dominate the market within a couple of decades but instead we keep wasting money tossing large amounts at both

No, no, no. I know where you can purchase 220 watt panels for $60.00 each. That is a 20 panel 4.4 K watt system for under $4K with everything and you can get a rebate of about 65% on top of that.
