Well, police have called off the lockdown. Still no word on the "exchange of gunfire" 2 nights ago. I'd wager it was a fubar.
Curious, the absence of tracking dogs, which would seem to be an effective tool in this type situation.

Some folks are drawing comparisons to the Christopher Dorner fiasco last year. Hopefully, nervous cops won't go shooting up innocent people like they did in that incident.

So I get back from work tonight, and scan the news about this story...
Surprisingly, after "shots fired" last night, and rumors that they had the suspect trapped in a building; no substantive news all day today, and secrecy abounds.
I'm wagering the cops fired on each other, last night. But, are reluctant to admit it. Looks like the suspect flew the coop, if he ever was actually in the area.
Police are shutting down whole neighborhoods, trapping people in their own houses, and other family members can't get back to their houses. This is also quite strange.

Well, this is kind of strange...shots fired last night; locking down a whole neighborhood as of this morning. Yet no news reporters allowed anywhere near the area. Get ready for for a big conflagration.

Do the "cop haters '" on here act like that mommo ?? This is a case of hating cops and everything else , stupidity !!! There might be one or two in every neighborhood, so we have to be vigilant. Cops aren't perfect either, but most are pretty good guys.
