I was at the grocery store earlier this afternoon, and there was this lady with a baby in the fruit section. I don't know much about babies, but she was in the baby seat. Maybe 2? I honestly couldn't tell you a baby' age, but she was definitely less than 10!

Anyway, the baby is pointing at some strawberries, and asks Mom, in her baby talk, to get some for her. Mom said no.

At this point I walk by, and the baby looks at me, gives that cute little open-close wave that little kids do, and says "Hey!"

I waved back and said hey, as anyone with an ounce of humanity does when a baby says hi.

I swear to you, in as clear of a voice as you can imagine, the baby points at the strawberries and says, "will you get those for me?"

I thought I was gonna die laughing!

All I could say was something like, "sorry, honey, but that has to be up to your mom!" LOL

That was just the cutest dang thing I've seen in a long time I really hope her mom reads this!
