No it was not the same reason everyone else is tempted. Satan knew who the Son of God is, and knew that he was the Perfect Lamb of God without spot or blemish that was to be offered for the sin of the world. Satan would like nothing more than to defile the lamb of God by getting Jesus to give in to his temptations like Adam did. Psalms 91

Same reason everybody else is tempted. Satan can only tempt you!!! You decide to follow him or not. Jesus said we are To live by the word of God. Satan loves taking you away from Jesus and Eternal Life.

Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.
