I dealt with JC in his hey day on numerous occasions . He would buffalo you, not pay you, string out his payments, beat down your price, anything he could do to make more money. He did nothing for our community and anyone that says different just plain never dealt with him. So now he is dead....he has the last laugh because he stuck us with the Taco Bell mess....typical JC.

does this mean the price of gas will drop 15 cents a gallon?

Prayers for the family, hoping they can settle with Wilkes County for the all the needs... that he failed to meet, May God Bless you all..... do the right things...

Nope but you can collect from their estate

I worked for J C (that's what every one called ten) all through high school during the late fifties early sixties at super mkt #1, #2 and the service station on top of 2nd street. I remember him as someone who gave you a job and expected you to do it, firm but fair.

Sure I didn't make $15.00 dollars and hour, (nobody did back then) but the salaries he paid helped put food on the tables of a lot of Wilkes families

Any one who started as a bag boy and achieved the level .success that he did should be admired and respected.

jc faw was a scumbag that was notorious for YEARS to not pay his bills! The taco bell hole is one debt of MANY he tried to scam on! He created businesses in this town but this town also gave him the opportunity as well. Only a known scumbag would screw the very town he helped create. I truly hope legal action continues and the debt HE OWES is obtained. Maybe the executor of his estate will have the decency to clear his name. Secondly my condolences to the family. A lose of anyone is tragic.

I have experienced many losses. I loved each one dearly. I also let them go. As often as I could, I enjoyed the humor that their lives created. I don’t expect to treat a stranger any differently. When my time comes, I hope those who hear of it will find humor and joy in my life and its situations. If I have been part of a public debate about a sinkhole, I’d be tickled to have it used in just the same way as I have today.

Mr Faw lived a long time and did many things. He hasn’t been slighted in the least.
