I would imagine that one of the problems, of which I am sure there are many, with deciding what to allow and what to censor is the definition of "hate speech."
Public debate of ideas has historically been one of the hallmarks of the "American Experiment." Most of the freedoms we enjoy were "hateful" to someone at some time. By discussion and debate we grow. When we attempt to censor those with whom we disagree we soon find that it is ourselves who is being censored.
