And even if it ran the compressor and fan 24/7 for 30 days it would add approximately $108 to a monthly power bill. In actual use probably less than $75. You're welcome.

The Wilkes Walmart has 5,000 btu window mounted 120 volt AIr Conditioners for around $125. Should cool 150 square feet or a 12 foot by 12 foot room.

off topic slightly. i don't want to be a downer on an amusing thread ... but thought i would toss out a reminder
it is really hot out there today. for those of you with pets outside, give them some shade and plenty of water. if they tip the water over easily, put it in a bucket or something that can't be tipped easily. give them a freakin' kiddie pool if you have to.

My mother in law is in the 94� room. 3 fans in there, no effect at all.
Dont ya think when its that hot in your home that you would get ac put in that house ? there's no reason for her to be in a room that hot that's like abuse in my book.
