To the folks still shackled, well, they probably look at you and wonder why they should pay you any mind at all. Folks seeking salvation will probably reject the Christ as a means because you are witnessing hopelessness.

Until then, folks are going to continue watching you rattle your chains and wonder why you are so hesitant to lose them. Others will see you as foolish with all that talk of freedom while you are all wrapped up in all those chains.

Like I said, hold onto hope 10. I am confident that once you repent, The Christ will indeed set you free from your shackles.

R U sure this is the format in which god has called you to use, You told us through Paul Harvey that this is the Devils playground.

Or is it ok, if used to promote...well this kind of judgement and condemnation?

Thanks for your comments and questions
I am a born again Christian and a Gospel Preacher. Being that we still do have freedom of speech, I am proclaiming the gospel message here and any other place I feel the Lord would be pleased for me to do so. I am not judging anyone in a condemning way. I am trying to convince all of the gospel = good news that whosoever will let him come and drink of the water of life freely. Jesus himself said he did not come judge or condemn anyone but came to offer life. While some may take it as being judged, the scripture says in John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

This is the work I have been called to do. If you don't care to read these post by all means pass them up, just as I do most other post on this forum.

To anyone who has been set free from the shackles of sin and fear of death through the Christ, more power to ya! I hope you have a great day! To those who have been set free from the shackles of sin and fear of death through Mohammad, I hope you have a great day too. To those whose freedom was found by following other sons and daughters of God! Have a super duper great day!

The verses 1047pm chooses to post, as well his own comments, are reminiscent of the fire & brimstone kind of fear-based religion from years gone by.

THAT'S the problem some folks have it, in my opinion.

1074, I'd like to say I personally don't mind you posting Bible versus that you've picked out. Some may find them interesting and enjoy reading them as I do. Some may even get something they need from them.

That being said, not all may enjoy them and by that shouldn't they be allowed to pick and choose as you have? When you post these versus are you posting them with the intent to share or are you judging people and believe they need to see these versus? If so, what or who gives you that right? I'd ask you did you ask these people if they needed or wanted you to share the versus you picked out and deemed this is what we need to read? If you can decide they need this what stops you from deciding they're going to heaven or ****?

I'd personally like to see heaven but I don't think you'll be the deciding factor in that nor should you be deciding what we read whilst we're here. If you'd started the thread by stating you have something to share or even just asked, it would be a lot differently received I believe. Like I said I don't mind the versus but a lot of people don't see that your intent is good, they see as you shoving something down their throats you picked, you choose and never once took the time to ask them. Something to think about...

Ezekiel 12:2 Son of man, thou dwellest in the midst of a rebellious house, which have eyes to see, and see not; they have ears to hear, and hear not: for they are a rebellious house.

Mark 8:18 Having eyes, see ye not? and having ears, hear ye not? and do ye not remember?
Matthew 13:43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Most of us are very skeptical of free offers and we should be . Most of them are gimmicks as we soon find out. This free offer is from our Heavenly Father who cannot lie.

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: The gift of salvation is by Grace= free gift, through Faith= believing is a free gift also through the Word of God. Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Romans 10:8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
One reason we are skeptical of God's offer of salvation is we know our condition. We don't like the condition we are in and it is hard for us to believe that anyone could love us that much that he would die for us to give us eternal life. It is true He loves you that much. It is not a blanket pardon that leaves you in you old condition, He will make you a new person with a new life in Christ Jesus.

It's not God, it's not really the religion really, it's just what some of the people have done with both. As with most things in life it's the people who take to the extreme. The most extreme killing someone for their beliefs, personal choices and lifestyles.

My question is who are we to know actually know what God thinks? How is it we have come to the conclusions that we presume to know what God interrupts as sin? If we took just the 10 commandments a lot of what We call sin is not in them and supposedly those 10 sins came to man directly from God.

My answer is I suggest a lot of what we think or believe we know about God is simply reaching on our part. God is something man can't comprehend so we bring him down to our level. And that is were the problems start.

It's pretty much true Goddess, if you think deeply about the statement.

If you constantly use your "freedom" to fight what you see as a "superstition", then is it really freedom? UU, looks like if you enjoyed your freedom, then you wouldn't bother.

I would say freedom from ancient superstition Is far superior.
