I don't think it's a conspiracy. Just watched the "victims" praise her. Saw the speech and the edited version and that guy is a jerk in the first degree. Heard the laughter and completly got it.

She was also quoted as saying somewhere, about this incident, that she would love to sue, but was not sure about it .

What was Sherrod's involvement in a lawsuit against the USDA ? How much was she awarded ?

I'm not sure what he believes about the Deep Water Horizon rig. But with a degree in Biology and Masters in Medical Botany and Medical Anthropology and a PhD in Nutrition he is fairly knowledgeable in the sciences and I never heard him say the Earth was flat. He does believe that Liberalism is a Mental Disorder though and to that I am sure you are too neurotic to agree. I reckon his theory about the Obama-Sherrod-Brietbart scandal is closer to the truth than any of us would otherwise fathom. I believe you might be confused with the wrong Savage.

The Obama administration most recently caved in to the right-wing propaganda machine by firing an African-American USDA official named Shirley Sherrod based on a selectively edited video that made it appear she was confessing to discriminating against a white couple that owned a farm.
In reality she was telling the story of how working with that family to save their farm helped her to lose her racial preconceptions.
While the White House has now apologized for what happened, no apology or job offer can undo the damage that has already been done to Shirley Sherrod by people who ought to have known better. And no amount of damage control from the White House will do anything to lessen the degree to which their rapid capitulation will incentivize further scandal-mongering of this sort.
It took less than 24 hours for the lies to be debunked. But by that time, it was too late � Sherrod had been forced to quit by the administration. Sherrod says she was never given a chance to tell her side of the story and says that the Obama administration was "not interested in hearing the truth."

I'm with Savage on this one. The whole thing sounds scripted. Very much like a propaganda hit piece. Breitbart is handed an edited video of a woman appearing to be a bigot. Predictably as counted on, Breitbart is excited and quick to release it. It hits the news networks. Every body gets angry. They release the rest of the video and the anger is refocused. They said the old white farmer was dead, then they dig up the old white farmer and in the thickest southern drawl you ever heard the man says "She be the sweetest wohman that ever leeved. There be positeevely no racism in that dear wohman's body." Black Panther case dismissed. Further loss of white voters and independents who have been abandoning Obama and friends in the polls prevented? It is as if it were made for TV viewing. Better than reality TV. It seems like a well played out script.



So like South Park said with George Bush. Either the Obama administration is incompetent for jumping to conclusions and firing the woman with a hair trigger via blackberry technology - that is how Obama likes to roll - or his administration is very competent in formulating a rouse.



As for as the ACORN videos, I seen both sides and I stand with Brietbart.

What I find most interesting about this situation with Sherrod, is the timing of the speech she gave in March, about something that happened more than 2 decades ago, being relaesed by FOX News now. On the heels of the whole New Black Panthers lawsuit dismissal. I believe FOX was counting on the Obama administration doing nothing, much less fire the lady. Then, when she was fired, and the story came full circle, FOX got caught trying to instigate yet another half-truth story about reverse racism by this White House.

As for the Acorn saga, I thought the pimp and his girl, as well as the Acornees, looked like total idiots. One for the underhanded setup. The other for falling for it.

Which they never actually did. No SMK the video was edited to make it look that way and you bought it. Meanwhile back in the rest of the world multiple criminal investigations using the full unedited video cleared the ACORN workers of wrong doing. And not just in California. These ladies in fact often called the police on our not so well intentioned hidden camera duo. These investigations and their results are all a matter of public record so are the real tapes now.

Your lack of knowledge when it comes to video editing aside that alone should be enough for you to man up and say **** I was wrong.

When editing video you can do anything you want with it. Including multiple frame counters on screen to "demonstrate" a lack of editing even though you edited the **** out of it. If someone gives you a video and holds up things like frame counters at "proof" that no editing was done I would not suggest trusting them.
