mom, a lot of things are "possible", but not very probable.
So how would you explain all the white criminals in areas like Wilkes County where the population of blacks and Hispanics are relatively small?

moving101, first of all, whites do not outnumber blacks and Hispanics by that big of a margin......It is like 60-40. http://quickfacts.census.go...00000.html Second, if you would check your stats on the NC SBI website that have states for each jurisdiction that shows the number of vehicle stops, tickets wrote, searches, etc. It will tell you their sex, age, gender and race. Do your research before you say that more blacks and hispanics are stopped and searched and handcuffed. The facts are there to prove everything you said is a lie.

mom, I hope you get a response to that last question. I'd like to hear the answer.
I can tell you this. Y'all know I travel all over this fine country and meet people of all colors, nationalities, etc. What I see with my own two eyes when cops have various assorted people pulled over on the shoulder of the roads is, the vast majority are black and Hispanic; often hand-cuffed while their cars are being searched. As a matter of fact, I can't recall ever seeing a white person put in handcuffs while a search was going on.
I find it very hard to believe that with the population of whites being far higher than blacks and Hispanics that the popo are not putting more focus on the minorities and letting white suspects/criminals get away. Please, don't anyone even try to argue that's because whites are less apt to be criminals.

o.k.....do we have a person of color on here that can answer that? Why would you fear the police if you aren't doing anything wrong? Has anyone of color on here been unjustly harassed by the local PD?

Poker, If the courts would impose and enforce sentences in a speedy and fair manner, the cops would not be exposed to as much ridicule and nastiness. When punishment is no longer a deterrent law enforcement is placed a a distinct disadvantage and you see the lines surrounding appropriate and inappropriate behavior becoming very fuzzy.
If granny is scared when the cops pull onto the road behind her, maybe you and she should examine if she is fit to be driving at all.

they should do it in public and to the officers entire immediate family.this should have been a law from 1776 untill now.when the people fear the police,the people are in trouble.it's a shame my 74 year old mom who has never had a ticket is scared when a north wilkesboro policeman gets behind her.but the american people are so dumbed down they believe the "police" are their friend and there to help. http://www.liveleak.com/vie...1408481278
